Week 1 Practical on Thursday, 23rd of September - Two Concepts for the Unknown Belligerent Entities (CUBE) Game Assignment

My First post after Introduction to Electronic Content Origination module. :P

Our Lecturer, Steve Harris explained us the 'Module Structure' in which we were supposed to make a blog, in which the main criteria which the assignments will be assessed are by Practicals and blog. So here is my game design and development blog finally!
We were asked to team up in groups for this semester and create a game and two concepts of Container of Unknown Belligerent Entities (CUBE). So basically, we decided we would have the same dream team for our group as we had last year!

Group Name: Untitled (That's when we couldn't come up with a name at all!)
Team Players:
  • Shez Mohamed
  • Marius Wojtaszak
  • Przemyslaw Przastek
  • Louis Tejano
We intially had to create a fully working game including:
  • 15 minutes of gameplay
  • Instructions/Manual
  • CD & Case
so each one of us layed down our ideas of what theme had to be made in order to start the work as soon as possible so, I came up with the idea of laying out the game theme of 'Trine' (almost similar) Click this link to have an insight of what the game is about:

And working with the fidgets it required a mighty time and dedication as well so we just came up with the 'CUBE' theme entity and 'Trine theme' According to time managing and plan we had only my idea to kick start with because others required quite big and long term game planning and work to be done. So we finally decided to make a game with this theme. So Steve agreed with our idea and asked us what are we going to inherit in the game (features such as?) We left this for next week.
